Troubleshooting
Common issues and their solutions when working with ShredStream.
No data received
- Check that your firewall allows inbound UDP on your assigned port
- Verify your subscription is active in the dashboard
- Confirm the IP address in your subscription matches your server's public IP
- Ensure your UDP listener is binding to 0.0.0.0, not 127.0.0.1
High packet loss
- Increase your system's UDP receive buffer size (see UDP Setup guide)
- Consider upgrading to the Turbo plan for priority delivery
- Choose a region closer to your server for lower latency
- Ensure your application processes packets fast enough — avoid blocking I/O in the receive loop
Payment not confirming
- Wait 30-60 seconds for on-chain confirmation
- Check the transaction status on Solscan using the transaction hash
- Ensure you had sufficient SOL for gas fees
- For USDT payments, ensure you had the USDT token account set up
Stream stopped unexpectedly
- Check your subscription expiration date in the dashboard
- Verify the region status is "Active" — disabled regions do not accept new connections
- Contact support on Discord if the issue persists
Region change failed
- If a region change fails, your original stream is automatically restored (rollback)
- Check that the target region is not at full capacity
- Verify your subscription is still active
- Try again after a few minutes, or choose a different region
