🌊 Streams

A stream delivers raw Solana shreds (Raw Shred Stream) or decoded transactions (Decoded Shred Stream) to your server in a specific region — over UDP, or over gRPC for Decoded Shred Stream. Each stream has its own product, region, duration, and connection. You can manage multiple streams from your Dashboard.

🔧 How Streams Work

When you create a stream, you choose a product, a duration and a region, then configure your connection: for UDP delivery, the IP address and port we push to; for gRPC delivery (Decoded Shred Stream), an endpoint and an access token are issued once the stream is active — no inbound port needed. After payment, ShredStream.com provisions your stream and begins delivering to your destination.

Each stream runs independently. You can have multiple streams in different regions with different expiration dates.

⚙️ Stream Management

From your Dashboard, you can:

• Create a new stream -- choose a product, duration, region, and connection, then pay to activate (or start a free trial).
• Monitor stream status -- see whether your stream is pending payment, provisioning, active, or expired.
• Update the connection -- change your UDP destination, or switch a Decoded Shred Stream between UDP and gRPC.
• Renew or extend -- add time to an existing stream before or after it expires.
• Delete a stream -- permanently remove an inactive stream from your dashboard.
